My Summer Reading List :)
Whew! Now, I can finally get back to my fics. This summer I’m going to compel myself to read LOTR but apart from that, I gonna throw in a couple of other stuff too. :)
Here it goes. (Chic-lits every once in a while are not counted.)
1. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

2. The Hobbit by J.R.R.

3. LOTR Book 1: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien

4. LOTR Book 2: The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien

5. LOTR Book 3: The Return of the King J.R.R. Tolkien

After reading Tolkien, I think I deserve to be rewarded so I’m gonna let myself read some John Green. :)

(Oh and in between all of these, I also promised myself that I’ll start classifying codal provisions and writing my thesis… So… MAY THE FORCE BE EVER IN MY FAVOR!)
OTH. Always and Forever.

Its the oldest story in the world. One day you’re seventeen and playing for someday, and then quietly, without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life. We spend so much time wanting, pursuing, wishing, but ambition is good. Chasing things with integrity is good. Dreaming. If you had a friend you knew you would never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for somone you loved, what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don’t wait. Nothing lasts forever. Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want. Everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where your next miracles going to come from. The next memory. The next smile. The next wish come true. But if you believe that it’s right around the corner, you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you’re wishing for. The world is full of magic. You just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it. With all your heart.

… Gone straight home after having learned that one of our 2-hour classes for tonight was cancelled… Found this baby, wrapped in pink packaging plastic, sitting prettily on top of my study table.
Woots!! =))
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on some John Green fics for months now but I can’t find a copy anywhere here in the province. I actually had to order this via internet from Fully Booked. Bookstores here in Batangas pale significantly in comparison with bookshops in Manila. :(
Anyway, I seriously can’t wait to start reading this one!
"
For the world is full of zanies and fools
Who don’t believe in sensible rules
And won’t believe what sensible people say
And because these daft and dewy-eyed dopes
Keep building up impossible hopes
Impossible things are happening every day
It’s possible!
"l-aura-sea asked: omg! you have the same name as the character in The Secret Circle. XD i was wondering when i would meet someone with that name! awesome. :)
Hello there! Yes, I do have the same name as the “mean” girl from The Secret Circle. Haha. :) My whole name is actually Kathleen Faye but people just call me Faye. Nice hearing from ya! :)
Magic makes sense to me.
The first book I’ve ever read that wasn’t imposed upon me by a teacher or by my parents was The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. I was seven. :)

I have that book with me until now.
The second one was Roald Dahl’s Matilda. Still, I was seven.

I lost my first copy. I must have lent it to somebody who never returned it to me. :(
Anyway, these two books introduced me to the greatest magic one could ever experience… READING.
I read.
That’s why MAGIC makes SENSE to me. :)
